Review: eos Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream - Lavender Jasmine

What is it?
"Can a shave cream make you smile? We think so. That’s why we invented this one. It’s made with natural aloe, oat, shea butter and antioxidant vitamins E and C to leave your skin looking radiantly healthy. This non-foaming cream boosts skin’s moisture level and keeps it smooth long after you’re done shaving. It’s so moisturizing, you can shave wet or dry. And eos provides a closer shave, even helping to prevent those little razor bumps. Who knows? You might even look forward to shaving." - eos website.

Price: $3.49

Where to buy: Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, evolutionofsmooth.com

My thoughts:
It's shaving time again. I could get away with not shaving my legs (sorry for the image... lol) during the winter, since I always wore long pants. But it's getting warmer, and legs are starting to show.

The first thing I noticed is the creaminess of this shaving cream. It's so smooth and easy to spread. It kind of smells like cucumbers to me, even though it's Lavender Jasmine . The easy-to-use pump offers 100% propellant-free dispensing. The bottle doesn't leave a rust ring in my bathroom. Two pumps was plenty to cover from the knee to the ankle, which means this product will last a while. When applying it dry or wet, it went on like lotion, allowing me to distribute the shaving cream evenly.  The shaving cream does not foam up, it's just a soft, creamy texture.

There are so much good ingredients on here, and the price is great in comparison to other shaving creams. Some key ingredients include aloe (soothes), oat (protects dry, delicate, sensitive skin), shea butter (softens and nourishes), Vitamin E & C (rejuvenates). After using the eos shave cream, my legs felt silky smooth, soft, and delicate, like a baby's bottom. I did not see any dry patches, which is awesome, considering I have to use "extra dry" lotion daily.

The price makes this a steal. I would highly recommend it!

Have you tried eos ultra moisturizing shave cream?

  3. Love this stuff too :) One thing I do notice though is to make sure you rinse really well or else it leaves a film. I don't ever want to use another shaving cream.
