Snip Snip at Great Clips!

After a long debate, I decided to get a hair cut. It doesn't usually take that long to grow back, so I wasn't too attached. Another reason I decided to get it cut was because my hair was shedding everywhere. I decided to go with a short hair bob and bangs because I wanted something different. I've always had layers in my hair, so this time, it was just a straight cut.

I figured since it was a simple cut, I would go to Great Clips. I "checked in" on my phone before I got there, so they were already expecting me. It was a quiet day, because no one was there. 

Kellie, my hair stylist, was friendly and she knew exactly what I wanted. It only took her about 15 minutes to do my hair. 

Since I was taking off more than 10 inches, I decided to donate it to Locks of Love. Did you know that your hair cut is free if you have them donate it?? I was certainly surprised, because I didn't see it advertised on their website. I asked her if this was something they did at all the Great Clips, and she said yes.  It's a win-win for everyone!

I love it, my head feels so much lighter too!

Review: Angelo David Salon Premier Volume Spray

My thoughts and experience:  
Angelo David Salon Premier Volume Spray is a miracle spray for my hair. I have long, thin black hair and this spray does wonders for it. As you may know, I am a very simple kind of girl. I don't own any hair dryers, curlers, or straighteners. I'm a wash - air dry - go - kind of girl. Now that my hair is long (down to my back), it starts to feel really flat.

After getting out of the shower, I towel dry my hair and evenly mist it all over. Then, I comb it and let it air dry on its own. When it dries, I can definitely feel a huge difference in my hair texture - more volume, stronger, feels healthier, and softer. Without it, my hair feels the opposite of that! I've already gone through almost the whole bottle, and I can definitely feel the difference without this stuff. I'm hooked!

This is something that I would definitely purchase again in the future.
