Review: Anastasia of Beverly Hills Beauty Express brow kit

My thoughts and experience:  
I received the brunette Beauty Express brow kit to test out. The kit contains a mirror, brow wax cream, duo brow powder,  eyeshadow duo, 5 stencils, and an angled eye brush. 

My first attempt went something like this -
I was trying to decide which stencil will fit me the best. I ended up using the medium arch. Although it may not match up directly to the shape of your brow, you can tilt it a certain way on the half way point to match it up. 

I used the angled brush to apply the brow wax cream over my brows to help them stay in place. Then, I placed the stencil over my brow and used the angled eye brush to fill it in with the darker portion of the duo brow powder. As you can see, for my first time, when I filled it in, one of the brows was a little crooked. This definitely takes practice!

This helped me define my brow shape while I plucked the strays and try to shape it according to the stencil. I plucked a couple of extra hairs here and there.

I've been using this kit almost every single day, seriously. Well, the colors, atleast. I don't do my brows everyday :P I love this kit for the simplicity of the colors, it helps to make my morning routine quick and easy. I use the matte shadow for base, the highlight part on the brow bones, and the lighter brow powder on the outer corners of my eye for something extra. Then I use the brow brush to lightly fill in my brows with the darker color.

It would have been so awesome if the kit came with small scissors and/or tweezers, since those are two tools that are needed for brow grooming. Overall, I think this is a great kit for everyday use. It's great for women who like the natural look. The kit that I tested is best suited for medium to dark hair. They also have a kit for blondes.

Brow Kit Video

Am I the only one who struggles with my brows? For some reason, whenever I try to do them myself, it would always turn out crooked or different heights. I usually try to get them waxed every now and then to maintain a nice shape. I saw this video by Anastasia Beverly Hills about Beauty Express Brow kits. It's supposed to be a useful tool to help you keep them nice and shapely. I can't wait to try it out!

My thoughts: RevitaBrow is a product designed to make your brows look fuller and thicker when applied. I've been using this product for four weeks, everyday, without any other product on my brows. I am both impressed with the immediate results, as well as the final results. My brows look thicker, fuller, and hair on the brow look longer. Although the disclaimer says that it is not intended to promote hair growth, look at the ends of my brow, I see a difference there!

The product itself is easy to use. I apply it with the wand applicator in light strokes after I wash and dry my face every morning. It's actually become an easy routine for me. Here are the before and after pictures upon application (I trimmed my eyebrows down a little bit, because the hair was getting kinda long).You can definitely see certain parts look fuller. I will usually have to use a loose powder to pencil a brow in the ends, because one side of my brow was always missing some hair. I no longer need to do that :]

Overall, I think this product is effective, especially used daily over time. I would recommend this product if you are interested in having fuller eyebrows. The price is a little much, but the results are great!
