Review: bigRuby nail tattoos

What is it?
Supercool nail tattoos to take an average mani or pedi and turn it into something unique, creative and fun.
bigRuby is a cruelty-free company. When you buy a bigRuby product, a portion of the proceeds will go to The Kindness Ranch (a sanctuary for research animals) as well as other animal rescues.

Retail price: $12 per pack

Where to buy: www.bigrubytattoos.com

My thoughts and experience:
Oh gosh, I remember when I was a kid, I used to love putting those fake tattoos on myself because it was the cool thing to do back then. When I was offered the opportunity to try these, it brought back total nostalgia.

Anyway, onto the product... I was given 3 sets of bigRuby nail tattoos to try as well as their very own top coat. Each set has 86 tattoos in different shapes and sizes to fit any nail.

To use, I cut the design that I like (make sure it fits with the nail that you'd like it on).
Then, I peel the clear backing and apply the tattoo face down on my nail polish base (you can use it on bare nails too).
Take a wet cloth and press on the nail for 15 seconds. Then, slide the piece of paper off and viola! Seriously, it is just like applying fake tattoos when I was a kid, except it is on the nail instead of my arm.

It's amazing because the tattoo is true to color, no matter what color your base nail polish is. I love that they have fun and eclectic shapes as well as nice and simple designs. The tattoos stay on without any problems, as long as there is a top coat over it. It doesn't even look like a tattoo, but more like a design that had been drawn on by a professional!

The bigRuby Super Dry top coat is thick, and applies on evenly and nicely. It helps the nail tattoo stay on much longer.

Have you tried nail tattoos?
