Review: China Glaze Anchors Away nail lacquer

What is it?
China Glaze’s nautical-inspired collection consists of twelve new shade. I was sent three for review considerations.

Retail Price: $7

Where to buy: Sally Beauty Supplies

My thoughts and experience:
The three shades that I received for review considerations were very neutral colors. The other lacquers in the collection is much brighter and summery. The formula is on the thicker side, but application was very smooth. It was not streaky or runny.

Knotty is a light champagne color with white speckles. It looks very sandy and shimmery, however, very smooth.

Sunset Sail is light creme peach color. It has a very feminine and vintage effect.

Below Deck is a creme violet and taupe mix. I received a lot of compliments while wearing this color.

All applications were applied with a base coat, and two coats of the nail lacquer.

  4. I actually like the colors that you show! Even though I'm really, really drawn to that fuschia or pink that I see at the top :)
