Review: Kiss Nail Artist Nail Paint - MDK06

Hey guys! I will be doing a series on a couple of Kiss and Broadway items in the next couple of days. :]

What is it?
The best selling Kiss Nail Artist Nail Paint offers more concentrated color than nail enamel and faster drying time. Fashionable stencil designs make anyone an instant nail artist; peel and stick, paint with Nail paint provided, gently peel off to reveal a perfect design! There are three kits in the following shades: French tip shades, pearls & glitters, brights.

Retail price: $6.99

Where to buy: major drugstore chains, mass retailers.

My thoughts:
This little kit is packed with so much color and fun! It came with 3 bottles of nail paint, 2 sets of French tip designs, and a set of rhinestones.

The nail paint is really easy to use. Instead of the regular sized brushes, these are thin brushes which allows you to do easy nail art. The colors are very pigmented, and the formula is rather thick. Make sure you brush off excess lacquer on the inside of the bottle a couple of times before attempting to do art on your nails. I noticed that sometimes the lacquer will drip down (it's not very attractive if you are trying to draw a flower and a big clump of nail polish drips on your nail)!

The French tip stickers are so helpful. It really helps to make a perfect look with your nails. Check out this look that I did, it's my first attempt on my right hand (and I'm right handed), so the blue lines look a little... messy. First, I applied a base color. Then, I used the rooftop shaped stickers on the middle part of my nails. I applied the hot pink color on the top side. I removed the stickers almost immediately - a tip is to pull it out quickly. Then, I attempted to paint straight lines with the blue color right below the hot pink. Another tip, I found that these stickers are reusable (I just used the same ones for my other hand).

Overall, I find that Kiss Nail Artist nail paint is fun and easy to use. It's great for both beginners and more advanced nail artists. All this for $6.99, this is a steal!

Have you tried this? What do you think?
